Tag, you’re it!
Boba is continuing to relive the schoolyard games he missed out on as a child. If you missed the first instalment, he has also played Red Rover with our troopers.

Today marks the beginning of the Iditarod, the last great race on earth.
For those of you who do not know what it is, it is a 1150 mile dog sled race running from Anchorage, in south central Alaska, to Nome on the western Bering Sea coast.
I would have preferred to have taken this shot outside, however, it has been raining for a few days and most of the snow is melted. It was difficult to even fill my bucket.
Check out the set up shot here.

Avoid Technology.

Today is World Book Day. Looks like our troopers are going to be catching up on some reading.
Our world is so full of computers, eReaders and smart phones. Every once and a while be sure to pick up a book and remember how it feels in your hands.
Enjoy!

Red Rover, Red Rover, the Clones call Boba over!
Our troopers thought it would be nice to help Boba relive his childhood. You see, Boba’s father; Jango, died while he was very young. Jango’s death, forced Boba to grow up much too quickly. As a result, he missed out on all those schoolyard games.
This shot could also be seen as a homecoming of sorts for Boba, as the Clones are really like the brothers he never had.
(Boba will definitely be making some more appearances in this series).

Our troopers thought they would show you that although they are Clones, they can still add; even if the trooper on the end is a little unsure!
Enjoy!

Our trooper couldn’t believe what he had just read…did Anakin just get traded to the Dark Side?
Today is the NHL trade deadline. Being a big hockey fan, I thought I would have a little fun with the fact that Anakin waved his no-trade clause to join the Dark Side.
Hope you enjoyed today’s photo!

Today is the 83 Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars. The Star Wars franchise has been nominated a total of 25 times and have won 10 awards. The most successful film in the Star Wars franchise at the Oscars was A New Hope, winning 7 of the 11 categories it was nominated for.
The “award” is Princess Leia from Star Wars Monopoly and the large scale Oscars in the background are actual large scale C-3POs.

Hopefully Vader doesn’t find him!

While lining up for the daily roll call, the Clones noticed something different about one of the troopers from their squad. Something was a little different…was it the eyepatch that gave Modo away or the fact that he’s a giant mouse?
You may be asking why Modo from Biker Mice from Mars is in today’s shot. There’s two reasons.
1. I couldn’t believe I had a Biker Mice from Mars action figure and
2. February 24, 1996 was the last time the original Biker Mice from Mars was aired.
This photo is also part of my mini series Roll Call.

Today’s photo pays homage to a photo taken by Joe Rosenthal entitled Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima. The original photograph was taken on February 23, 1945.
Shortly after Rosenthal’s photo was taken, it became one of the most significant and most recognizable images of the war. In fact, it has been said that this image is the most reproduced image of all time.
I hope I have done it some justice.

Well today is Family Day so the troopers wanted to show off their parental side.
There were several shots today that my wife and I enjoyed. It was very difficult to choose which shot would go in the series and which would be the Alternative. That being the case, there are several Alternatives today.
Although we loved all the shots, we both came to the conclusion that this image was most appropriate for Family Day.
Enjoy!
